It Must Be Generational

It must be generational.

Maybe that’s just an easy answer. I hate to define a woman merely by the fact that she’s a mother. But I’ve become too skilled at rationalizing behavior because she was labeled a daughter before a mother.

I want to know who taught her.
Then I want to know who taught her.
Then I want to know who taught her.
This can go on forever and I’d only find answers I’ve already known.

It must be generational.

The cycle is so simple. Not complex, just inevitable.
Man, have we become such a classic.

Magnolia: Where even are we? It’s so pretty.
Magdalene: You made it, you made it to heaven.
